Our Dear Fools & Fans,
This is the mail that we hoped we didn’t have to write, but that I guess we all knew was coming. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are forced to cancel/ postpone this year’s Fools & Fans.
We understand that this news will leave a lot of people very disappointed, please know that we are heartbroken, and it is the last thing we wanted to happen. Planning for Fools started in September last year, and there has been a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get us to this position.
Fools is a self-funded festival, and cancellation at this stage leave us massively out of pocket. Whilst we will obviously offer to refund anyone who has brought tickets and cannot make the next event, we would kindly request that where possible you hang on to your tickets, they will be valid for next time. We will announce the next dates as soon as we know how this virus will be contained. Should you however require a refund, please email; firstname.lastname@example.org. Kindly allow us some time to process these.
If you have purchased camping tickets, these will also be available to use at the next event, as will the Potjie and Spit.
Anyone who has bought a t-shirt already, some of these have already been printed, some haven’t. We will message individuals whose shirts have already been printed to see if they still want them.
The homebrew competition will still be going ahead. These beers have been brewed, and we feel it is only fair.
Our loyal fans, you guys are amazing, we are so sorry to disappoint you.
Much love from your organizers, Mike, Trevor & Leon
